Finally I got the parking spot in front of Dean’s Corner on Main Street, Jewett City Connecticut where I grew up. This intersection is the busiest place in town. Working very quickly, I get to show off my classically trained drawing skills and skill as a watercolorist. This was done in two sittings. What I loved after getting past all the telephone wires and cables is the beauty of the steeple that brought me back to my days drawing architecture in Florence, Italy. How wonderful everything I love in this world is right here where I call home. I even love the pot holes in town where when I hit one all the lights in Daddy’s Truck come on...and when I hit another they all turn off. As Dorothy did in the The Wizard of Oz, I too clicked my heels together three times and returned home.
