**When Dorothy (Stott) Clark retired from children's publishing, (www.littleduckproductions.com) she returned home to live full time in Griswold, Connecticut. She is the daughter of Bill Stott, one of the well known twins from the area.
Mrs. Clark attended Paier College of Art, was a student of the late Foster Caddell, Leo Stoutsenberger and Charles Sovek; all Plein Air Painters. Following their traditions of painting from life, Mrs. Clark also enjoys this unique art form started by the French Impressionists. She can be seen in the community driving her father's old Ford truck which is her portable studio. She parks quietly on the side of rural roads to draw and paint. The stirring wheel is her Easel and the windshield is her view of the world she loves.
From her Publishing life, Mrs. Clark is a Senior Member of The Society of Illustrators in NYC.
